Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full TimeMutiple Certified Medical Assistants to join the Pediatric Neurology department in Morristown, NJ part of Atlantic Medical Group. Monday through Friday hours, 9:00am to 5:00pm. 



Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • The CMA will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining medical records, vital signs, managing phones, triaging phone calls, scheduling appointments, precertifying testing/surgery, following up on medical clearance for patients, assisting physician in exam room with post-operative patients, cleaning rooms, and maintaining supplies in exam rooms.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Education:

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

License/Certifications:

  • MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required
  • Valid NJ Driver's license required as travel between sites may be requested

Relevant Experience:

  • Post externship experience preferred
  • EMR expereince is a plus
