MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST SUPERVISOR FULLL TIME MANATEE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Responsible for supervising assigned staff in accordance with their job descriptions, maintaining a high standard of work and is responsible for timely and accurate reporting on all shifts. Remains cognizant of accrediting agency requirements and maintains manuals, logs and other documents to their standards. Aids in developing and implementing all policies relating to Quality Assurance, Quality Control, the handling and disposal of hazardous materials within their section. Shows leadership, delegates responsibility, establishes accountability among his/her staff, participates in and encourages continuing education. Performs regular inservices, orientates new staff, performs annual evaluation and prepares work schedules, maintains inventory and staffing within budgetary limitations. Performs bench work from time to time as needed and in accordance with Policy and Procedures. Demonstrates Service Excellence. Other duties as assigned.
