Office Manager - Outpatient Clinic

Turning Point has an opening for a full-time Medical Office Manager at our Outpatient Clinic. Our clinic provides outpatient counseling for children (ages 6+), adolescents and adults. The Office Manager oversees the day-to-day functions of the outpatient clinic and will:

  • Manage and provide support to the providers for efficiency of the clinic
  • Schedule meetings and patient appointments for multiple providers and send appointment reminders
  • Process incoming and outgoing referrals
  • Welcome and assist patients with check-in process
  • Manage requests for medication refills, pharmacy prior authorizations, and health status
  • Process patient billing information
  • Compile data for monthly reports

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree, CMA or LPN preferred
  • Two (2) years experience in hospital data entry and financial data processing; one (1) year experience processing Medicare/Medicaid and third-party insurance claims.
  • Knowledge of electronic billing programs and third-party insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, etc.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer experience required.
  • Ability to handle confidential information
