Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Nursing Assistant for 1 South at Newton Medical Center to work 7 pm - 7:30 am including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
- Assisting patients with daily activities
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Administering basic treatments
- Helping to ensure a safe care environment
- Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
- Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in an acute care setting preferred but will be willing to train.
Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS required
- CNA preferred
