Pharmacy Tech Specialist - Up to $5k in new hire incentives

Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.
The specialty technician will perform complex, specialized duties regarding automated dispensing machines, robotics, repackaging devices and/or are assigned leadership roles in departmental projects and programs. May periodically be responsible for performing basic pharmacy technician duties and more advanced pharmacy technician duties that may include billing and/or IV Clean Room responsibilities based on site specific needs. Works under the supervision of registered pharmacists.
This is a full time position, variable shifts Mon- Sun .
Includes $2,000 retention incentive, and a $3,000 relocation incentive

- Internal candidates
- Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter
Experience/Specialized Skills:: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Certification/Registration:
- Current Pharmacy Technician License.
- Certification by a National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) required within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum 2 years pharmacy technician experience.
Required Education/Course(s)/Training: 5 years inpatient experience preferred
